Participants may choose either a 1 or 3 mile walk around the beautiful grounds of Keeneland. The event is open to all ages so bring your famiy and friends. DESCRIPTION:From Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lexington: \nBourbon and the Bayou is a Fat Friday event with Mardi Gras theme including live music\, Cajun food\, bourbon tastings\, silent and live auctions and Mardi Gras entertainment. \nThe proceeds from this events help us train volunteers as advocates to speak on children’s behalf in the family circuit court in our local community. Our volunteers are appointed by judges and trained to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. Currently only 29% of those children who need advocacy are being served. We currently serve Fayette\, Bourbon\, and Woodford counties.
