The Heart Walk is our premeir fundraising event and attracts thousands of participants to Keeneland Racecourse each spring to raise important funds that help save and extend lives right here in Central Kentucky. Participants may choose either a 1 or 3 mile walk around the beautiful grounds of Keeneland. The event is open to all ages so bring your famiy and friends. SUMMARY:HONK!TX Festival of Community Street Bands
DESCRIPTION:HONK!TX is a nonprofit\, community-driven festival that brings street and brass bands from around the country to perform for free in the public spaces of Austin\, Texas. Mobile and unamplified\, HONK! bands transform everyday locations into spontaneous stages\, dissolving the line between crowd and performers and inviting everyone to celebrate the joys of music and community. A range of genres will be represented: New Orleans second-line brass\, European Klezmer and Balkan\, Brazilian\, West African and more. HONK! is a celebration of community\, collaboration and creative expression. Join the revelry! \nYou should really come to see the wide variety of bands this festival has to offer\, but if you just want to see March Madness Marching Band (an understandable instinct)\, we will be playing at these times and locations: \n-Friday\, March 29\, 7pm by the Trellises at Mueller Lake Park\n-Saturday\, March 30\, 12pm by East Arbor in Adams Park\n-Saturday\, March 30\, 4:30pm by West Grove in Adams Park\n-Sunday\, March 31 as part of the all-band revue in Pan Am Park \nMMMB’s HONK!TX Facebook event page
