The family-friendly festival is held on the last Saturday of June at the Robert Stephens Courthouse at the corner of North Limestone and Main Streets. The free festival includes entertainment\, kids activities\, vendors\, and fun events. The event was created to create a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to connect and to celebrate and to celebrate our identities.

The color guard and musicians usually rehearse in separate second floor classrooms\, with a joint period of announcements in the middle: \n–3:45-4:00 pm\, musicians arrive; warm-up \n–4:00-6:00\, color guard and musicians rehearse \n–break at 5-ish for announcements \nSome weeks\, when the color guard and musicians need to practice together\, the timing may be different. Some weeks\, the practice location may be different. Due to holidays and scheduling conflicts\, there will not be any practice some weeks. All schedule changes will be reflected on Gig-o-Matic and shared via MMMB’s Google listserv email. \nAre kids and other guests welcome at practice?  \nKids who are serious about practicing are very welcome\, at the discretion of the Minister of the Grooves and the Ministers of the Moves. A parent/guardian should stay for practice\, as no one else in MMMB can take responsibility for watching them. Some teens who have demonstrated commitment to practice diligently may not need parents/guardians to stay\, but please know that they are not supervised at practice or at events. We have been very fortunate to have some awesome teen monkeys!  \nGuests are welcome to observe practice quietly\, and parents/guardians need to keep an eye on their own kids. The Heart Walk is our premeir fundraising event and attracts thousands of participants to Keeneland Racecourse each spring to raise important funds that help save and extend lives right here in Central Kentucky. Registration begins at 8 am with a health and wellness fair\, a fun kids area and plenty of entertainment and education. Participants may choose either a 1 or 3 mile walk around the beautiful grounds of Keeneland. The event is open to all ages so bring your famiy and friends. A range of genres will be represented: New Orleans second-line brass\, European Klezmer and Balkan\, Brazilian\, West African and more. HONK! is a celebration of community\, collaboration and creative expression. DESCRIPTION:From Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lexington: \nBourbon and the Bayou is a Fat Friday event with Mardi Gras theme including live music\, Cajun food\, bourbon tastings\, silent and live auctions and Mardi Gras entertainment. \nThe proceeds from this events help us train volunteers as advocates to speak on children’s behalf in the family circuit court in our local community. Our volunteers are appointed by judges and trained to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. Currently only 29% of those children who need advocacy are being served. We currently serve Fayette\, Bourbon\, and Woodford counties.

An immersive wizarding village with live entertainment\, food stalls and handcrafted market. The annual event has become an experience like none other\, incorporating a new thematic aspect of the Harry Potter universe at each event. This years theme is: The Sweet Soiree. It is Lexpecto’s only fundraiser for the organization itself and finances all of the outreach done through the club. \nMMMB performs at 6:30pm.
